STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS

SEA (Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects) standards are a code including technical standards, regulatory texts, as well as general conditions for construction. They are developed by specialists and adopted after consultation with the various stakeholders (drafters, building owners, contractors, suppliers, public services and universities). The best known is SEA « General Conditions for the Execution of Construction Work ».

In its standards collection, the SEA distinguishes three types of standards, depending on their content :

  • technical standards
  • contractual standards
  • standards for understanding

Affiliate member of SEA (Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects), we can guarantee you our information and training to federal standards and regulations for the art of building. We have ongoing monitoring and updates.

If you are going to invest the savings of a lifetime, be sure to protect yourself to the maximum.

For you as a customer, the most important is to be satisfied with the result. In the opposite case, there shall not be too much discussion, “it is compliant or it is not”. This is not a question of opinion but a question of adjustment, quality of materials or implementation.

According to the SEA, you have a deadline of 10 years between the moment a defect is discovered and the moment when it is too late to report it. This is the great difference that exists with the Code of Obligations (CO), which states that a defect must be immediately reported.

It is for these reasons that we are affiliated with the SEA and it is mentioned in our contracts.
